Arbitrary Voting Rules Result In Citations, While Congress Turns Its Head

CLICK HERE TO HELP ME RUN THE RADIO SPOT YOU'RE HEARING NOW

Passage of the Thirteenth, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the National voting Rights Act of 1993 collectively have strengthened the voting rights of African Americans, and other minority voters over the last century.

The process of pre-clearance found in section '5' of the Voting Rights Act beckons for continued attention and ultimate re-validation before 2007. Apparently, some elements in both Houses of Congress don't see the need to promote inclusion but would prefer voter supression. Reference Florida in 2000, and Ohio in 2004.

As U.S. Representative, I will work to promote the inclusion of over two million African American Voters who have fallen victim to arbitrary Felon Disenfranchisement Laws. Please join me in speaking out to eliminate any semblance of obstruction to full inclusion of all Americans to participate in the political process. You can call any of your members of Congress toll-free right now at 888-355-3588 or 800-828-0498.

The one click form below will send your personal message to all your government representatives selected below, with the subject "Re-Authorize The 1993 Voting Rights Act To Promote Inclusion And Empower All Citizens."
